Little distorted half cylinder shaped (hanzutzu) tea bowl made of light, coarse unrefinde Mino clay, with very nice, little and small ishihaze (exploding stones).

The mouth has been trimmed in a fashion frequently seen in black Oribe but rarely in Ki Seto (yellow Seto) bowls. The expertly thrown body is covered with the typical ash glaze inside and outside which has turned into yellow due to a slight iron oxide content in the clay.

This is Katazome Hanjyuban of cotton made for Edo period. As for this, thick cotton spun by hand is used. As for this, a Hanada color dyed by a high quality natural indigo plant is very impressive. Amaryu pattern is dyed to two kinds of a Hanada color and the gray color. And a middle part is dyed to a Hnada-colored geometry pattern. Some parts of the collar are it in a stain, but there is no damage. Size 67.5cm x 102cm (26.5 "x 40.1")

A well cared for Qianlong period porcelain famille rose Chinese bowl with still vibrant glazes that feel smooth as silk. The bowl is in excellent condition, No Chips, No Cracks, etc. Hard to believe it is 250 years old! Measures about 9.5" diameter x 4" high. Circa 1760.

A well rendered miniature Chinese lacquered hardwood horseshoe chair with a bat carving on the splat. The hardwood appears to be in the rosewood family. The chair is little larger than most miniature pieces, indicating that it may have been a scholar's item. Measures 8.5 inches by 5.5 across. Excellent condition.
