Burmese wooden disciples sitting on bases with Burmese inscription at the back of the bases in adoration posture with two hands attached to each other indicating respectful manner. The disciple's robes are delicately carved as layers of pleat. Traces of original lacquer and gilding remain in good condition.
Excellent Burmese wooden buddha sitting in Mara Vijaya (calling the earth to witness) posture on a base, with meditative facial expression, lacquered and gilded with inlay of colorful glass pieces on the headband and the borders of the robe. The buddha's robe is elegant with gold sheet and delicately carved as layers of pleat. The folds of the robe flow over each other.
