Fine old Khmer bottle. There is one hairline crack in body but no other damage. As every Khmer stoneware piece I have seen in the past 5 years has had some significant repair or has been refired I would describe this piece as being in excellent condition. D: 12cm/4.8 and H: 7.3cm/2.8in.
This fine and very rare stoneware bowl was made during the 13th / 14th century. It has moulded walls and a foliate rim with a very attractive inner decoration featuring flower blossoms.
