Large Thai 14th / 15th Century Sukhothai Bowl - Fish Pattern
This large stoneware bowl was made during the 14th / 15th century. It has been coated in a white slip, on top of which has been applied the underglaze decoration. The pattern features a central medallion of a fish and several decorative bands. The clear glaze is finely crackled. In the centre are five "spur" marks, from its manufacture.

Both the inner and outer surfaces have been extensively decorated with incised patterns comprising mainly vertical leaf patterns, but also horizontal bands. It has been coated in a finely-crackled transparent celadon glaze of very good colour, save for the heavy foot that remains unglazed.

This fine stoneware bowl was made during the 13th - 15th century. It is quite small for its type and has been decorated on its inner surface with bands of incised lines. It is coated in a transparent celadon glaze that is finely crackled.
This stoneware jar of squat globular form was made during the late 11th / 12th century. It is quite "heavily-potted" and is coated in a speckled brown glaze that stops short of the unglazed flat base. Around the wide shoulder are various bands of incised decoration.
