A Very Rare/Fine Pair of Korean Leather/Silk/Girl’s Shoes-19th C: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century. A pair of shoes with a leather and red and light yellow colored silk for a royal family’s child, the soles actually are pig skin, sewing done unbelievably very well at the time. For a child (girl) shoes they’re very rare with a good condition like these shoes in these days. It’s in very fine condition, measures 5 3/8” long.

A very Fine Korean Peony Incised Celadon Cup-Stand-12th C.: Korea, Koryo dynasty, 12th century. Finely potted cup stand with flaring saucer is on raised ring foot, decorated with four large single delicately incised peony and are each other around the saucer bordered by bands of key-fret patterns beneath a rich translucent celadon glaze evenly whole body, three spur marks. It’s in very good condition without any damages at all, and measures 13.5cm d. x 5.2cm h.

11th Century Korean Celadon Lotus Bowl. Most celadons are from the 12 to 14th Century. This is a rare early example of an 11th Century celadon, and a fine example, at that. Molded in the form of a lotus, an ancient symbol of purity and rebirth, because the lotus rises above the muck of the pond to show its face to the Sun. 12th Century Korean Inlaid Celadon Chrysanthemum Dish of Fine Color, with an inlaid circular ryu scroll in the inside of the bowl. The chrysanthemum's many petals is an ancient symbol of an abundant life or fertility. The ryu was a royal scepter with a head in the shape of the mythological bullocho longevity plant. 4.75 inches wide x 1 inch high; 12 cm wide x 2.5 cm high.
