The elegantly potted shallow dish, sharply tapering to a raised foot and with a raised rim, with the interior face bordered with a single line, the both out and insides covered overall in an even greyish white glaze with the base. It’s in very good condition with applied white glaze overall evenly, it measures 17.2 cm x 4 cm

Korean Koryo Dynasty Inlaid Celadon Stoneware Bowl

This stoneware bowl dates to the Koryo Dynasty (AD 918 - 1392). It is glazed all over, save for the foot ring, in a celadon glaze that is very finely-crackled. The glaze has run in places and seems to have "degraded" resulting in some staining during its long burial. To the inner surface there is decoration provided by inlaid white slip, comprising several parallel lines as well as floral motifs...
