Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print depicting a young girl and two flower stalks by Kaoru Kawano (1916-1965). The artist's red seal is at the lower left portion of the image amd the black circular seal is on the back. Circa 1950s. Printed posthumously. Paper size: 16 5/8"V x 11 1/8"H (image: 14 7/8"V x 8 3/4"H). Excellent overall condition with full margins.

A Japanese diptych by Bairei,Kono(1844-1895). The print depicts two butterflies done in blacks and grays – flying over two pink lily blossoms with full stem and leaves. It is in very good condition with light wrinkles and is a protected by a clear plastic wrap over the black mounting mat paperboard. The print has a three character mark at the top right that translates to “"Yuri Ni Cho"(Lily and Butterfly).
