This is a fun woodblock print by the famed Edo period woodblock artist, Kunisada(Toyokuni III). It is titled “Nango Rikimaru With Cut Foot” and is from Kunisada’s Comic Pictures Series. The print portrays a samurai dancing around on his right foot as he examines a cut or puncture wound on the outside of his left calf.
