The size of Japanese Imperial Silver Cigarette Case: 3 3/8" L x 2 3/4" W x 1 1/2" Thick. It is beautifully made Japanese Imperical Silver Cigarette case with Imperial family crest, Kiku Mon. It is sterling silver although it does not have Jungin marking. It weighs 3 ounce. The workmenship is superb. The sureface of cigarette case has matt finish. An extraordinary pear-shaped silver bottle vase chiseled entirely in relief with profusions of kiku along the body and exquisitely wrought butterflies perched along the neck. Etched lappets with floral sprays under the rim provide contrast to the powerful modeling of the kiku. The incised signature of Toshiyuki is on the base and this unique silver vase is in excellent condition. Height: 11.75" Meiji Period, Japan

An openwork silver kodansu formed as a jewelry box with double doors, elaborate hinges and clasp, foliate top-handle and three drawers with green velvet-lined interiors.
