Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) wood lacquer two-case Fubaku Box with gold nashiji interior and a black lacquer exterior. The Box is finely decorated with symbolic scrolls and pine brunches and signatures of artists on each scroll. The box is in excellent condition with no losses. 6 3/8"tall x 8 3/4" x 8 3/4"

Big Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) unusual gourd-shaped wood tray with gold nashiji letters over uneven gold grey lacquer work imitating leather. The sides and exterior of the tray are made with black lacquer. 14" tall x 14 1/4" wide.

Japanese Meiji Period 19th century three-box Fubaku with a handle. It has an original naturally wood surface on the exterior and black lacquer on an interior. The top cover has maki-e and nashiji with floral decorations and symbolic clouds with silver nashiji. The handle is made from a natural wood of a slightly lighter color then the rest of the box. 8" tall x 7 3/4"wide x 6 3/4" deep.
