They are seen here in their treasure boat decorated with all the auspicious symbols for longevity, including the minogame turtle, the dragon, the crane and the kotobuki symbol for happiness. A tall and quite dramatic Japanese ikebana basket crafted of a reddish bamboo, the inner layer woven in a tight herringbone pattern and the outer layer composed of wide vertical bamboo strips added for vertical strength. These wide strips have been split at the tops and woven back down into the basket in projecting V-shaped patterns. Three twisting yellow bamboo twigs form the handle.
