Japanese bronze Champlevé vase with archaic designs and mythological animal handles. The vase has a “Greek key” design under four bands of enamel shields, “T’ou-T’ieh” mask symbols , lotus flowers and leaves decorations. Size is 9-1/2” H x 7” W handle to handle, with a 6” Diameter body, and weighs 4.12 lbs. Impressed on the bottom of the vase is the mark, “Made in Japan”. Condition is excellent. Age is early 20th century, Meiji Period.
