The artwork is quite fine on this vase and the gold is applied in classic Meizan style, as are the geometric reserves. The condition is perfect with no visible signs of wear and no restorations. The dimensions are 6.5" x 3.5" and it dates near 1880.
The detail on this dish is extraordinary and quite beautiful. It is signed on the reverse side with a tiny red seal, which we believe to be Gyrokushu and the minute detail is indicative of his work. The condition is excellent, with almost no wear. There is some specular reflection in the images that might appear as wear and should be ignored. The dish measures 4" x 1 3/8" and dates about 1880 - 1890.
This globular earthenware vase depicts the 7 gods of good fortune, enameled in fine detail. It is very atypical of work done by Kinkozan, but interesting nonetheless. The condition is excellent and it dates about 1900 - 1920. The dimensions are 9.5" x 8.5".
