~Sold to Denmark~ $155.USD/$1200.HKD

Impressed votive clay icon depicting a Goddess from the Gandharan Kushan period 3rd to 4th century CE. Although Gandhara is most well known for its Buddhist art, this to me has a Hellenistic religious feel to it and may be a statue of Athena. Mounted on a museum quality custom-made perspex stand, there are traces of original brown pigment and is in overall good condition. Dimensions: 10.2cm/4in height (not including stand).
