~Sold~ USD$300/HKD$2300.

Avalokitesvara depicted in the form of Sadaksari. 18th century. Very good bronze image with gilded face of the Bodhisattva of Compassion. This has an excellent worn polish on the surface and is well crafted. There are some tiny prayer scrolls inside the torso cavity indicating a high Monk or Lama has consecrated this image. ~~~SOLD~~~

TIBETAN GILT BRONZE BUDDHA, 18th CENTURY.

This diminutive gilt bronze figure is just a tad less than 3 inches high! It is of fine quality manufacture, dating from the 18th century, and shows signs of being used devotionally. The face shows signs of wear, as does the gilding. It is cast in bronze with a high copper content, the exposed copper colour darkening in the few weeks that I have owned the bronze. Please ... USD$3000./HKD$23,000. Sold to Singapore. Thanks la!

Abhaya is very pleased to offer this excellent late 18th century Tibetan Gilded Mahakala. In unusually good condition with no damage except for minor crease behind base, at rim. Very finely crafted it has superior workmanship throughout. The base plate I believe to be original, it appears to be reconsecrated as the “cold gold” and other facial pigments are recent. Priced well below market value this piece of Tantric Art would make an exceptional acquisition for the serious collector. Dimension...
