Antique Tibetan ritual dagger or Phurbu, of typical form with a horse’s head at the top, below which are 3 wrathful heads mounted on a Vajra with the three edged blade emerging from a Makara’s mouth. This Phurbu is probably 19th century, the casting is somewhat provincial but the piece especially the expressive three wrathful heads is quite powerful as I hope the pictures have managed to capture. The dagger measures 8 inches in length.

This rare cloisonne table prayer wheel was made in China during the Chia-ch'ing period (1796 - 1820). It was made for the Norbulingka temple palace. The prayer wheel rotates by spinning the rod. In good condition. Nicely decorated with auspicious symbols and a double dorje on the base. Height 12 cm. Diameter 8.5 cm.

This cloisonne offering container was made in China for the Norbulingka temple palace in Tibet during the Chia-ch'ing period (1796-1820). The container is in excellent condition and decorated with the auspicious symbols. Height 20 cm. Diameter of the shoulders of the bowl: 12.5 cm.

This heavy (2188 grams) bronze phurba stand was made during the Chia-ch'íng period (1796 - 1820) and is from the Norbulingka temple palace. The three sides of the stand are decorated with skulls and dorjes. Height 7.5 cm., length 12.5 cm. In good condition. Without the phurba.

The double dorje or vishvavajra is the symbol of Amoghasiddhi. Each part has nine prongs, associated with the nine methods or vehicles (yanas), leading to enlightment in the Nyingma tradition. Size 9.5 cm. In excellent condition. Very beautiful object.

This very fancifully designed Buddha has a very intricate mandorla typical of many Nepalese depictions of the Buddha. The sides of the mandorla are decorated with animals, columns and other designs hard to identify.
