In the centre a sculpture of one of the 24 Tirthankaras. The back plate decorated with small sittimg Tirthankaras and attendants. Made in Karnataka or Maharashtra in the 17th or 18th century. Dimensions: 28x17x8,5 cm. Provenance: private collection Belgium.
The Tirthankara Parsvanatha sits in meditation on a lion throne, protected by the seven headed snake Dharenendra and flanked by two standing and two sitting Jinas. Together they represent the 5 Jina image or pancatirthi. The two figures on the side of the lion throne represent Padmavari (the female) and Samvara. Engraved text on the back of the statue. In very good condition. Size 15.5 x 8 cm. India, 16/17th. century.
Small Indian bronze figure of a standing female deity, most likely the protective Jain Mother Goddess, Ambika. Although it is difficult to tell for sure, the popularity of the Yakshi goddess in Jainism makes it probable. The goddess stands in a very traditional straight pose associated with Jain statues. She holds various attributes in her four arms. Standing on either side are two smaller figures...
Indian Jain bronze figure of Vishnu with Lakshmi seated on his knee. Six other figures are present including 2 attendants on the bottom. The figure on the bottom is their friend and vehicle, Garuda. Incised with writing on the base and back.
Dimensions: 5 5/8" high x 3 1/4" wide x 2 1/2" deep.
From Maharashtra or Karnataka. H. 14 cm. The 23rd Tirthankara is symbolized by the cobra, which is modeled on the back of the figure. Provenance: private collection Belgium.

Antique Indian wheeled Gujarat trunk, overall metal encasing surface, traces of blue and light orange pigment, interior with two small trays on either side and a small covered box at the bottom, 18th/19th century. Size: 26 1/2" high x 31" wide x 18" deep.
Indian Devi (Durga) Mohra Mask from Himachal Pradesh. In traditional use, it would have been wrapped in garlands and marched in processions. This piece has been glued together where it split in half. It is a clean break and looks fine. 12h x 8w inches, 30.5h x 20.5w cm.
