Antique, 19th century, Islamic, Indo â€“ Persian, all steel short dagger, Khanjar, with traditional Indian pistol form hilt with lobed pommel, with a slightly re-curved, double-edged blade featuring a central panel, deeply chiselled on both sides with various animals, including elephants, tigers, camel and rabbit in a classical Indian hunting scene (shikargah), depicting tigers hunting animals...
A heavy cast, pear-shaped bronze or brass ewer standing on four feet. With straight spout and curved handle. The drop shaped, slightly raised medallions with incised floral spray. Condition: lower end of the handle lost, the lid seems to be a later replacement. Dimension: 29.3 cm high, from handle to spout: 29.5 cm.

A rare Jain Indian sandstone Stele with a carved image of Buddha surrounded by his attendants from the Gujarat or Rajasthan regions. Seated figures of Jain teachers are always sculpted with hands folded in meditation. This Buddha has an auspicious diamond-shaped mark on his chests. The Buddha is seated on a lotus with a halo above his head. Underneath the Buddha are two mythological lions...
A Kashmir papier-mache vase with polychrome and gold lacquer decoration in the Mughal style. Showing couple of birds on a mille-fleurs ground or a golden feather pattern, framed by a mihrab border. The sides with two small handles in the shape of tiger heads. Condition: some chips and losses to the lacquer. Dimension: c. 22.8 cm high.
Antique Kazak rug with blue, red and olive green colors. the border has four bands. The three medallions sit amongst a blue ground interspersed with flowers. 19th-20th century. It measures 7'3" by 5'2".
Antique kazak style middle rug made from wool, hand knotted. Typical kazak style colors of red, blue and yellow with accents of green and other colors. The central medallion is blue and flanked by scrolling yellow vines outlined in pale green. Dates from late 20th century. It measures 10'11" by 7'7".

Antique Korean porcelain bottle of an octagonal faceted form, with long neck fluting slightly at the rim, covered in a translucent crackle white celadon glaze. The foot is deeply recessed with buff edges.

Kurdish antique saddle bag most likely for use on a donkey, made in slit-tapestry technique in a variety of colors, woven in one long piece and the folded over on either side to make two storage pouches. The primary central motif is that of two eight armed stars, below this another half reserve with two half-stars and surrounding it all is a beautiful decorative guard band delineated by narrow fence motifs...

Out of Mongolia, this old leather tobacco pouch was made with a large button for hanging, long leather tassels, home made interesting decorative leather ornamentation...and hanging hook for removing old tobacco from pipe... Clearly old and well used: the leather is still playable. Great example of ethnographic folk art

Beautifully painted in vivid colors. In the 1990s when Mongolia was first opening to the west, it was possible to find statues like this. Now, if I find them at all, they are extremely worn or have damage or repairs, or not of the first quality...
