Indian carved marble figure of the Hindu warrior goddess Durga sitting on lion, she holds a curved sword over her head and wears a crown, the eyes and mouth are painted on both the goddess and the lion, 12th century. Size: 42" high x 21" wide x 7 1/2" deep.

Antique Tibetan sutra cover, carved with 9 Buddha images with different mudras. Size: 35 / 12 / 2.2. cm. This book cover is very good condition.
Shamanic ritual dagger with three deity heads on top, geometric design in relief in the middle and on the lower side the usual three blade tip with intricate geometric decoration surrounding the "makara" head. Wood, fine dark brown semi glossy patina. Red wax seal form the Nepalese Antiquities Department at the back of the blade. Nepal, 19th century. Obvious signs of wear due to age, otherwise very good condition. Collected in the mid 70s.

A woven, decorative headpiece of multi-colored wool for a yak. In the center the ornamental, letter symbolizing the Kalacakra, or Cosmic Wheel. Backed w. cloth of later date. Tibet, early 20th cent. H 21 cm, W 17 cm. Condition: Good colors, some wear.
Tibetan Buddhist thangka protraying an image of Yamantaka, which is the wrathful form of Majushri, the bodhisattva of wisdom. The deity is flanked by Chenresig, Lama Tsongkhapa, a Bodhisattva similar to Namgyalma, and a blue tara. Age: 18th/19th century. Size: height 35.5" length 24.5" width 0.75"

Long offering vessel in the shape of a "yoni" (stylised female sex) with a centrally placed pointed "lingam" (stylised male sex). Hammered copper, with a fine reddish-green patina. India, early 19th century. Length: 26 cm. Very good condition. A rather rare object. NOTE: The Yoni is the symbol of the Hindu Goddess Shakti, while the male counterpart is the Hindu God Shiva's Lingam Their union represents the eternal process of creation and regeneration...
