A rare Indo-Persian Mughal KHANJAR DAGGER with a particularly beautiful damascended PAMOR design blade, terminating in a triangle of overlaid gold foliage decoration. The wonderfully shaped silver grip is exquisitely crafted as a 3-dimensional Lion's head. The dominant dense pamor pattern resembles the irregular annual rings of a tree trunk. Comes with a scabbard in blue textile. Size: 14" inches ( 36 cm.). Late 18/19th Century.

Korean Art and Antiques
Dhyangro drums are usually separated from their phurba (ritual dagger) handles, and the handles are sold by themselves. This is a common occurrence with Nepali dealers. This is because the handles are easier to transport and sell. So it isn't very often that you see a completely intact, old Tibetan ritual drum. Old Indian â€˜Deep Lakshmiâ€™ solid cast bronze oil lamp. The goddess stands holding the lamp bowl wearing an elaborate necklace, snake armlets and bracelets. This lamp measuring 8 inches in height has seen a great deal of use, the surface is worn and pitted in places with some Verdigris around the neck as seen in the pictures...

Vajradhara or Dorje Chang in Tibetan is the ultimate primordial Buddha or Adi Buddha according to the Gelug and Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism. This fine example is from Tibet or possibly from Nepal. It is well proportioned and has very nice facial features. Please note the fine engraving on the back of the figure. It is in a very good condition with normal age wear, a nice patina and remains of polychrome. H. 23 cm. From a Dutch private collection.
