Consisting of six items, the hexagonal tray is decorated with enameled low relief designs of Noblemen’s lives, the round covered boxes are decorated with enameled embossing design of flying dragons, the betel leaf holder is decorated with openwork design of enameled flower, the small non-enameled bowl is decorated with engraving design of flower, all with stamped silversmith's marks on the bottom.
A Chinese silver salver made by the well-known studio of Wang Hing probably for export and of superb quality, with a border of pierced and embossed dragons chasing the pearl and enclosing a central scene of a flowering prunus tree.The quality of the craftsmanship is very fine and the condition of the dish excellent. The form of the caddy is taken from an English silver example of the Regency period.
