The octagonal bowls are very intricately painted with sprays flowers with a diaper border. They were made specifically for export to the West during the Qianlong period, circa 1760.

A CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE ROSE DISH, QIANLONG, 18TH CENTURY.
This substantial dish is beautifully decorated with famille rose enamels. The central area, painted with flowering plants and eccentric rocks, is enclosed with a very fine border of panels of flowers, gourds and finger citrons set against bamboo over a cracked ice ground.
This dish was made specifically for export to the West around 1740 ~ 1750.

DESCRIPTION: Three quite large and colorful antique porcelain figures of the Chinese “Gods of Blessings,” Fuk (Luck and Wealth), Luk (Happiness and Recognition), and Sau (Longevity). These three represent some of the most popular deities in Chinese mythology. There are countless legends of the Fuk Luk Sau aiding and bestowing kindness and blessings on worthy mortals throughout the centuries. They were originally astrological stars, hence their name of the “Three Star Gods.”

Chinese middle Qing dynasty Qianlong period export porcelain globular form teapot with straight spout, loop handle, and domed cover, decorated on the front and back in famille rose enamels with identical scenes of figures fishing in a landscape. 18th century. Very good overall condition with minute imperfections to the tip of the spout and tip of the finial and some wear and losses to the enamels and gilt. This is a fine Chinese export graisaille teapot. Circa 1745-1760. Graisaille Porcelain ordered by the Dutch in 18th century is relatively rare in all Chinese Export Porcelain. The Chinese only produced this type of porcelain in small quantity for about 40 years. Graisille porcelain items from the 18th century was more expensive in Europe than other Chinese porcelains of blue and white as well as famille rose.
