Base with maker's mark "CW" standing for Cumwo who worked during the 2nd half of the 19th century in Hong Kong. Condition: few traces of usage, border with small breakage. A set of seven spoons with design of a Chinese coin and crossed flags, five spoons with Chinese auspicious characters. Nine spoons with Chinese character mark. Condition: few traces of usage. Elegant silver cigarette case, the lid decorated with bamboo. Inside marked "Tackhing", "90% silver" and a Chinese character mark. This silversmith was active between the late 19th century and early 20th century in Hong Kong. With original blue silk lined paper box, the lid with glass. Condition: few traces of usage, glass with breakage. Dimension: 8.2 cm x 11.7 cm, weight: 128 g.
A Chinese porcelain plate decorated in famille verte enamels with a bird on a branch surrounded by butterflies and flowers within a diaper border with floral reserves. Diameter: 26.8 cm. Kangxi (1662-1722).
The plate has a 4.5 cm. hairline crack at 7.00. The rim has been polished to remove frits and on the reverse there are some areas where shallow chips have also beern polished out (see details). There is also a second... Click for details
A Chinese export pith paper painting of a tea production scene. Painted area: 23 x 14 cm. Framed: 40.5 x 31.5 cm. 19th cent.
The frame has obvious damages. The painting has a thin tear approx. 8.8 cm. long on the left-hand side ( see detail) and a small blemish and adjacent crease in the upper right. No other faults.
A cylindrical Chinese export porcelain tankard with a dragon-form handle, decorated in underglaze blue with a river landscape scene with bridges and pavilions. Height: 11.8 cm. Qianlong (1736-95).
Small rim chip to interior. Base of handle ringed with a crack. No other faults.
An unusual and attractive fluted Chinese export teabowl and saucer decorated in famille rose enamels with a man and woman in a garden with rocks, flowers, etc. Height of bowl: 5.9 cm.; diameter of saucer: 11.5 cm. Qianlong (1736-95).

A pair of Chinese powder blue globular jars decorated with shaped floral reserves in underglaze blue. Height: 8 cm. Kangxi (1662-1722).
These unusual jars should have lids. One has a firing flaw to the inside of the footrim, the other a firing crack and associated chip at the rim which is glazed over. No other faults.
A rare Chinese export porcelain “Cherry Pickers” plate enamelled with a young man on a ladder picking cherries and dropping them into the lap of a lady beside another with basket and dog. Diameter: 23 cm. Qianlong (1736-95).
Large star crack within the cavetto. 4.8 cm. hairline at 8.00. Some rubbing, especially to hat and hem of seated lady’s dress. No other faults.... Click for details
