Antique Chinese 3 piece textile set with table apron panel and 2 chair coverings. Made of beautifully embroidered shi-shi dog (gold lion) with flames, clouds, peony, and bamboo on blue silk. Overall good condition with some loose gold thread and slight discoloration. Chair coverings backed by cinnabar linen. Table apron measures 40" wide by 32" long. Fabulous antique Chinese table apron textile with 4 gold dragons, (originally had nine), above water on a blue silk background with auspicious Buddhist symbols and a two inch floral border of peonies, irises, and butterflies in blues and white, the border possible was added at a later date. Excellent condition dating from the 19th century. Measures 62" wide by 36" long.

Rectangular embroidered panel, the green and red ground fabric is felt, often used in the 19th century China. Embroidered with silk and couched metal wrapped thread, the hem with attached macramé, tassels and metal disks. A bridal bed curtain made of three panels in shiny purple silk. Beautifully embroidered with birds, like a couple of peacocks, ducks and pheasants among flowers and bamboo. Light blue silk lining, the bottom with long fringes and the upper border with an additional pink band for a curtain-rod. Condition: two small tears, pink band with small holes, few stains to lining. Dimension without fringes and band: 264 cm long x 183.5 cm.

Antique Chinese silk embroidered panel in original hardwood frame inlaid with mother of pearl. This type of embroidery work is called "Yue Xiu" in China. The panel is displaying two finely detailed peacocks below a flowering tree surrounded by birds and butterflies. The combination of yulan magnolia (Yu Lan) and peony flower means "Yu Tang Fu Gui" in Chinese. The birds on plum tree is called "Xi Shang Mei Shao" in Chinese.
