Rare late Qing, circa Guangxu, snuff bottle with even peach bloom glaze and apocryphal Kangxi mark in unusual truncated shape. The stopper is new made with agate and an old silver spoon. There are a series of frits/chips on the outer edge of the mouthrim as noted in enlargements. H: 7.6cm/3in and D: 5.7m/2.5in.

A Chinese Green Glazed Porcelain Snuff Bottle. 19th.c. Ht. 3 1/2 ins. (9 cms) This handsome bottle has a very finely crackled glaze with a brown rim. and a white jade stopper with ivory spoon. (11.8 cms) This handsome bottle features a design of Dogs of Fo (Lion dogs), the traditional guardians of Buddhism, playing amongst conventional cloud scrolls.
