Beautiful Han Terracotta Male Stick Figure with a gorgeous face and his hair pulled back into a top knot and braid. A well preserved burial piece with much soil adherent still intact and traces of pigment throughout. From a renowned and published New York collection. 23 inches (58.5 cm) tall. The Han Dynasty was from 206 BC - 220 AD.

Rare and finely sculpted torso of the Buddha seated in the Bhadra asana from the Tang Dynasty. This is a classic piece which clearly illustrates the Gandharan Greek inspired influence on early Chinese Buddhist art. The head and lower portion of base have been cut off to remove an attempt to restore the image using contemporary commercial materials. H: 13.7cm/5.4in and W: 11.2cm/4.4in.

A beautiful set to add to a garden path or entryway, this pair were originally used as a decorative embellishment to the entryway of an important residence or official building. To the rear of the decorative aspect is a flat area, one of which still has the iron connector inset into it. Each one is approximately 56cm. high by 58 cm. long by 20 cm. wide (22" x22.5" x8")

A true piece of Chinese history, this marble was probably the base or other structural element to a monument or temple in its time. Probably dating to the Yuan Dynasty or a little earlier, the scars of the Cultural Revolution make precise dating not possible. None the less, a wonderful piece, with a Buddha in relief on three sides, and the remainder of some carving to what is now the back. Approximately 21.5x12.5x12.5 inches, 54.5x32x32 centimeters

Very early Chinese (386 CE-577 CE) stone fragment of a Bodhisattva head most likely Northern Wei or possibly Northern Qi. Although small a very nice piece and is a good example of how early Chinese Buddhist Art was influenced by Gandhara of which this closely resembles. Included is a museum quality perspex stand. H: 3.5cm/1.4in.

A small well shaped Chinese scholar's rock (or viewing stone) with intriguing splashes of red. There is a conforming carved slate stand. Late 19th to early 20th century. Scholars used to contemplate over the rock and write poems in competition.

About 8" wide, 7.5" high on stand. Very good condition, no cracks. Versatile size.
