18th/19th century wooden gilt lacquered Chinese Buddha measuring 6 inches in height. Wear to the gilding and some age related cracking and loss to the Lacquer as can be seen in the pictures.

Buddha is depicted standing on an attractive and unusual quadruple lotus pedestal with an expression of blissful and compassionate wisdom. His right hand at his side in Varada Mudra and his left hand in Avakasha Mudra, held at chest level infront of the bunched hem of his long flowing and finely modelled robes. Unusual large early Ming bronze statue of the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra (Chinese: P¨³xi¨¢n) mounted on his vehicle an elephant. The statue was originally gilt though much of the gilding has worn off, there are losses to the crown, the usual casting flaws, the back is roughly finished. The statue measures 12 inches in height and is quite heavy.

18th or 19th century carved wooden Chinese Buddha in the Tibetan style with remains of pigment. The figure has suffered damage from wood worm in the past as can be seen in the pictures but they have long gone and the Buddha is quite stable. The figure measures 6 inches in height.
