Heavily potted Chinese tripod censer covered with deep teal colored glaze, decorated in incised and raised fashion with scroll and floral motifs. Ming dynasty. Later wood carved lid with carnelian knob. The censer in fine condition; the lid with small chip.

Chinese Yixing pottery teapot decorated with the "Three Friends of Winter" motif (pine, prunus, and bamboo). Dates from the Cultural Revolution era (circa 1960's - 1970's). This teapot measures about 3 1/2" high to the top of the pine branch finial by 7 1/2" long from the tip of the spout to the handle. There is a tiny seal under the lid (see enlargement 7). Chinese Yixing pottery teapot decorated with a design of a fish in waves metamorphosing into a dragon chasing a flaming pearl. When the tea is poured, the dragon's head emerges and his tongue sticks out. The interior pouring hole has 7 small holes which act as a strainer. Chinese Yixing pottery teapot decorated with prunus flowers. Dates from the Cultural Revolution era (circa 1960's to 1970's). The interior pouring hole has seven small holes which act as a strainer. There are two unreadable seals on the base and under the lid (see enlargements 7 & 8). It measures about 4” high by about 8” long (tip of spout to handle).
