DESCRIPTION: A small Chinese porcelain vase with bulbous body and long neck, finished with a vibrant green crackle glaze on the outside and a white crackle glaze on the inside. From a Florida estate, it was purchased by the owner in Hong Kong in the mid 1970’s. Dating from the turn of the century, C. 1900; good condition; one small chip to rim. DIMENSIONS: 5 5/8” high (14.3 cm) x 3 ¼” diameter (10.8 cm).

This is a very simple by elegant long rectangular pottery dish with a matte finish light turquoise green colored rim. The inside of the dish has a light tan glaze and even some splashes from the turquoise green rim's glazing. The base is not glazed.

This large and impressive stoneware jar was made during the Liao Dynasty (AD 907 - 1125). It is particularly "heavily-potted" and coated with a thick green glaze, both inside and out.
