A Chinese card case of ivory, carved all over, in the Canton school of decoration, with scenes of daily life,figures in pavilions, pagodas and shrubs. The carving is very detailed, deep and crisp and the thickness of the case is a good 1.1cm. We can obtain CITES Export Licence, if necessary. Age: C.1870. Size: 10.5cm ( 4 1/8 inches) long and 6.8 cm(2 11/16 inches) wide. Condition: very good as seen in images, only a tiny amount of natural yellowing in one corner and that is due to age.
