Panel of a formal court summer robe, blue silk gauze embroidered in counted stitch and couched Gold and silver wrapped thread, dating to mid 19th century. Dragon roundels above a border of four writhing dragons chasing pearls above a celestial landscape. Edged with original blue brocade border and lined with later blue fabric. Condition: faded, loose and missing threads, thin areas, holes, splits, old mends, wear. Dimension: 47 cm x 241 cm.

An "ogee" shaped porcelain bowl decorated with polychrome 'famille rose' enamels depicting two pheasants amongst flowering peony and pomegranate branches and below a band of alternating lotus flowers and the eight Buddhist emblems, the Bajixiang. The seal mark to the base reads "Zhong Hua Min Guo" (Republic of China), dating it to the period 1911-1949. Complete Chao Guan, Final of a 6 TH Rank With Matching Dan yan hua ling Ling Holder, Hat Box and Folding Paktong Hat Stand Hat of very fine woven bamboo with silk tassels and a taunt silk covering and rimed with a double brocade. The finial and gilded base in excellent condition. It is lined with gauze. A stiffened red silk covered sweat band inside attached to a finely woven split bamboo crown cradle. General wear of use on leather box with no damage.
