A 13th.century ko seto Kamakura vase in elegantly-shaped meiping form, with a gradual outward curve on the shoulder, with short-knopped neck, incised beneath the greenish-yellow / olive glaze.

The box was added by our gallery 20 years ago. It was made by a tomobako artist, and there is written 'ko seto kamakura vase' if my memory does not fool me. The vase is decorated with kanji letters.

This is Tsutsugaki firefighter coat of Edo era (1800-1860). This is cotton Hanten spun by hand of thick indigo dyeing. It is a design very impressive beautifully. Like F1 ~ F5, this has the part that some indigo blue changed. Both cuffs have damage such as F6. 108cm x 123cm (42.5 "x 48.4")

Straits Chinese silver hallmarked adjustable mesh belt with a three-part buckle decorated in low relief with a fish among flowers. A four drawer lacquered gyosho tansu. The tansu has metal work advertising the medicine the peddling merchant was selling. The medicine, soge-nuki kusuri (written on the box) aids in removing splinters. The medicine was made by Shiota Nadaya Juzaemon who was based near Takabashi, Shinbashi in Osaka city. Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period famille rose porcelain bowl, covered on the exterior in a dense mille fleurs pattern set against a gold background. The base holds an apocryphal six-character iron red “Great Qing Qianlong Year Made” mark. Late 19th century. 4 7/8” diameter x 2 1/4” high. Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the overglaze gilt background. This bowl is from a Tucson, Arizona collection.

This is a very special Japanese cloisonne bowl. It was made by Ogasawara Shuzo. Shuzo's ability to capture a life-like quality make his pieces with fish some of the finest ever created in the Meiji Era. The bowls is in excellent condition. It measures 7 inches across and is 3 1/2 inches tall.
