Chinese Export Imari Porcelain Plate, 18th C. Qianlong period 1736-1795, 9" diameter, 1 7/8" high, with Peony flower branches in the center, within more floral branches decorated on the wide border, all the decorations are done with overglaze iron red on top of the underglaze blue, highlighted in gold. There are very tight glaze hairline under the plate about 2" long and another one is 3/4" long, and small chips 1/8" wide under the rim.

Antique Japanese Funa Tansu (ship safe chest) made from beautiful Kuri (Chestnut) wood. It has two front sliding panels with an iron lock in its center, and two handles incised auspicious designs. The interior is shelved with a side locking drawer, accented with red lacquer. Three drawers run along the bottom of the chest with squared kakute style iron handles. Size: 22 3/4" high x 26 1/2" wide x 17 3/4" deep.

A rare pair Korean badges for a civil official, dating to the Choson period. Embroidered in multicolored silks on blue figured silk with two cranes flying with a stalk of sacred fungus amidst clouds, above a taihu rock and waves. Bordered with gold wrapped thread. Glued on cardboard and mounted in antique wooden European frames. Condition: fine, slightly faded and few loose threads. Dimension: 24.8 cm x 23.1 (with frame), badges: approx. 22.5 cm x 21 cm.

Hanging scroll. Portrait of Minamoto no Tsunemoto, sitting on a tiger skin before his sword, dressed in a white garment over his armor. Ink, colors, gofun and gold sprinkle on silk. Dated mizunoe ne (1852), early summer. Signed Gyokurei Omoto and two seals.
Image H 45 ½ x W 20 in.; total height: 80 ¼ in.

Comes with fitted kiri-wood storage box inscribed, dated 1852 and signed Ono Gyokurei.
