A large pair of 19th c. (Edo p) votive Inari Fox images representing the god of fortune. They are 16.5 x 10 x 24 cm (6-1/2 x 4 x 9-1/2 inches). One holds the key to the treasure house in his mouth. One would have been standing over a Buddhist jewel, however that is now missing.

Antique Kurdish chanteh bag (camel bag). Made of wool and woven in two connected panels. The front panel (facing out on the camel) is woven with star protection motifs and surrounded with a running hooked motif along the border. The back of the bag is woven in a stripe pattern. Chinese vintage belt hook carved in the form of a dragon's head curled to face a crouching chimera with scrolling vines in his jaws. On top of the chimera's back is a bat and coin representing good fortune. The jadeite is very beautiful in color and ranges from a pale, almost white starting at the head of the dragon and gradates to a bright orange color with a steak of bright green in the center. This is an original elaborately handcarved softwood corble of a majestic Chinese Fu-Dog or lion dog guardian. Original joints on its top and side that would have kept it into place. Set of two Japanese samurai warrior dolls on horseback. Possibly representing the very well known Toyotomi Hideyoshi or Yoshitsune Minamoto and Benki. One samurai rides a white horse caught in mid stride while his rider leans forward in pursuit. The other warrior is on a black horse that is standing still analyzing his next move. Both warriors have intense expressions and are decorated in full armor with bows and arrows. Very highly detailed with all original parts.
