A Long Spell of Rain Date: 1930s. Size: Chuban. Approximately 10 x 7.25 inches. Publisher: Takemura Hideo. Reference: Koitsu catalog no. TK-TM-060. Medium: Japanese woodblock print. Condition: Excellent color. A couple of scuffs and a very light crease near top. Paper fan, mounted on rib and guard flat sticks, made of wood nicely lacquered and gold painted with elaborate human, geometric and floral designs. The paper part is made of two concentric bands, richly decorated on both sides with polychrome, gold and silver hand painted miniature scenes showing different characters on various situations. SOLD This is an exquisite decorated iron Koro signed Nihonkoku Kyoto ni sumu Komai sei. The condition is excellent and actually better than the images show. A glue/cloth residue was left on the underside and side of the base.This is easy to remove.The piece stands 4 1/8 inches tall and is 3 1/8 inches wide. The delicate lid appears to be silver.

Sizes range from 1.75 to 3.25 inches. It is unlikely you will ever again see prehistoric Korean arrowheads offered for sale.
