Antique Chinese bronze water dropper in the form of a crawling baby. Cast in bronze with details of traditional baby clothing tied at the back of the neck. The baby crawls forward with one leg slightly bent, elbows on the ground and face forward. When submerged, water would have flowed into the dropper through he hole in the baby's back. Water could then be dropped out of the baby's mouth as needed to mix ink.

A Chinese banded amethyst sculpture, shaped as an egg and carved with the head of an Immortal with large pendant ears . The carving is beautifully rendered and the unusual form makes it original and desirable. In very good condition, it measures 2 3/4 inches (7.25 cm ) long and dates from the Republican period.

Head of Buddha with a serene expression. Grey sandstone, with some remnants of the original lacquering and gilding at the back. Ears partly missing, nose restored. Thai Ayuthaya period, 16th/17th century. The head is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Height of the head: 18 cm.

The expression of Sakyamuni is beautiful and serene. Clearly carved by a master artist. The image is made of one single piece of precious, dark purplish zitan wood. These type of wood images were made of different parts and assembled ( it can be seen by the holes where the various parts would have been stacked together ).
