This is Indigo dye cotton tsutsugaki furoshiki textile of the Edo era(1800-1867). It is a very beautiful crane and a lucky design of the tortoises.It is a characteristic of tsutsugaki of the Edo era that the ear of the tortoise is expressed like a dragon. There is a thin stain. There is not damage. It is in a very good state. It is made of hand-spun cotton and natural dyed. size:141cm x 142cm (55.5" x 55.9")

This is a very attractive Cloisonne jewelry chest from Inaba. It is a vintage piece, but still there a lot of work that went into this jewelry chest. It is decorated all over. There are two working drawers and both sides of the doors are also decorated. In the bottom area is a wind-up musical mechanism, that does work. Vintage summer hitoe kimono made of a silk and hemp(asa) weave. It has a beautiful print pattern of orange blossoms and paulowni blossoms in blue/green, yellow, and silver. Japanese Imari Porcelain Hibachi, 9" high, 10 1/4" diameter-outside maximum measurement, later part of 1800's, with repeated vertical indented grooves on entire body with four(4) separate cartouche filled with floral decoration, underglaze blue and overglaze dark orange or reddish color decoration, highlighted in gold. The condition is good, no damage or restoration.
