SOLD Antique snuff bottle made from beautifully hand-carved peking glass with a smokey clear-tone body, dipped into vibrant green and white glass. One side of the bottle shows a hawk perched upon a branch with blooming flowers, and the other side shows a dog pup gazing up at the bird. Has a jade topper. Signed with a cartouche, dates from early 20th century.
Size: 3.5" tall, 1.5" wide
Set on a domed floriform base with bulbous mid section incised with flowerheads, the flaring cup cast with bands of petals with beaded rims. H. 13,5 cm.

$1,750.00 Beautiful Chinese porcelain vase, scrolling vine and floral pattern with a double ring on the foot, cobalt blue, 19th century.
Size: 6" tall, 4" wide
Intricately carved with a three legged toad (wealth) resting on a leaf, next to a lotus pod with movable hardwood seeds, under the leaf a spider and another insect and two frogs on the stem of the lotus pod. H. 3,5 cm, diameter 5 cm. For a similar toggle: Margaret Duda-Traditional Chinese Toggles, page 79, fig. 452. Beautiful wear and patina.
The monkey is a symbol of rank and promotion. Here we see a kneeling monkey holding its legs. It has a warm glossy patina, some parts of the foot are missing. H. 5 cm.
In the shape of a lock. Characters on both sides . W. 7,5 cm, H. 5 cm. Nice patina. 19th century. For similar toggles: Margaret Duda - Traditional Chinese Toggles, page 82-83.

The tsuba is decorated in a way where on one side is a branch of the cherry blossoms and the other side is the flowers scattered on the ground. The flowers are done in a shakudo style technique. SOLD Small bronze incensor of the Japanese god Daikoku "magic money mallet", or Uchide no kozuchi. He is associated with wealth and prosperity and is commonly portrayed seated upon bales of rice surrounded by mice, which symbolize plentiful food. The mouse seated upon the mallet is actually a removable lid. Taisho period (1912-1925)
