Small charming and rustic Korean bandaji (blanket storage trunk). Made with roughly hewn thickly cut wood. Brass hardware including corner bracing and little bats along the bottom. 19th century. Size: 22 1/2" high x 27 3/4" wide x 14" deep.

Korean ceramic bowl from the Goryeo dynasty, 12-14th century. The interior of the bowl is decorated with ducks and willow trees encircling the well which is embellished with blossoms. The exterior is decorated with a band of scrolling waves, flanking floral roundels. Old restoration. It measures 7.75" wide.

The middle doors and lower drop-down lid open to a large compartment lined in Korean paper. The upper and lower set of doors are book-matched so the natural woodgrain appears to mirror itself. The piece is fully detailed with brass hardware and plates.
