A sublime Korean celadon bowl with a flower and scrolling vine motif imprinted on the inside of the bowl bordered with an incised line below the rim. The grey green glaze displays a dense web or craze of lines. Korean celadon wares have been favored by the Korean court and by the Japanese, who call it Korai Seiji. Korean Koryo Dynasty Celadon Stoneware Bowl with Inlaid Slip Decoration

This small stoneware bowl was made during the Koryo Dynasty (AD 918 - 1392). It is glazed all over in a thick and finely-crackled translucent celadon glaze. The inner surface is decorated with a central flower blossom surrounded by rings and cloud patterns inlaid in white slip (this is not so easy to photograph due to the highly reflective glaze)...

Korean Koryo Dynasty 13th/14th Century Glazed Stoneware Bottle / Jar

This attractively-shaped stoneware bottle was made during the 13th / 14th century. It has a wide round body, a short narrow neck and a cup-shaped mouth. The surface is coated in a finely-crackled olive-green glaze, the colour varying in places according to its thickness. In places where the glaze is particularly thin, it has degraded a little over time and flaked from the surface.

Korean Goryeo period stoneware bottle vase with wide shoulders tapering to the base and trumpet neck ending in a cup-shaped mouth covered overall in a finely crackled olive-rust tinted celadon glaze. On a slightly cracked celadon cover, it has 4 loops at the shoulder. Rare shape, the body of the vase seems to be placed on a cup. It bears a signature close to its base of Yu Hegan (1894 - 1993). Very pretty vase in perfect condition from the early 20th century. H 25 x D14 cm.
