Shikishi size measuring 11 3/8” x 10 3/4” (paper); image: 11” x 9 1/2.” Excellent color and very good overall condition. There are some slight wrinkles in the paper and a faint diagonal crease in the sky below the bridge...

Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print depicting a pavilion in the woods near a pond by Inui Tai (b. 1929). The artist was active from the end of the 1940s through the 1980s and was heavily influenced by the work of Shiko Munakata. Paper size: 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" (image: 9 3/8" x 11 3/8"). Very good overall condition with some wrinkling to the fine paper and minor soiling to the bottom margin edge. Similar prints by this artist can be seen in the online collection of the Spencer Museum...

The white title is set against the cobalt blue background at the upper right. The print is pencil signed "T. Tokuriki" and numbered 11/200 at the bottom. Narrow format print measuring 16” x 7” (paper); image: 15” x 4 7/8.” Very good color and overall condition with large margins...

Japanese Meiji Period kuchi-e (magazine frontispiece) woodblock print by Kaburagi Kiyokata (1878-1972) titled "Gathering Shellfish" dated 1910. The print depicts two beauties at the seashore. Two cups of tea and an assortment of sea shells are beside them. One beauty holds a long pipe. A Japanese-style painter, Kiyokata was a pupil of Mizuno Toshikata. Measures just under 11" x 8 3/8"...
