1900's Japanese Shakudo Mixed Metal Floral Chain Necklace with Fan Shaped Pendant

It is 21 inches (53.5 cm) in circumference by 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) long. The fan is 0.9 inch 1.4 inches (2.3 cm) in length by (3.56) wide. It is 67 gram.

It is tarnished and has surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Antique Japanese cast iron tetsubin (kettle for heating water for tea). Made with a tall handle and bell-shaped body. Raised shells adorn one side with a raised abalone shell on the other. The intentional casting of rough edges adds a natural beach-like appearance. The lid is also made of cast iron.

Small cast iron tea-pot. One side is decorated with lotus flowers, the other side is without any decoration. The spout is doubled in bronze, the handle is in copper as well as the lid which has a decoration of small rounds in light relief of different patina, perhaps formerly gilded. The grip button is in silver plated copper and shakudo. It is likely that this type of jug was also used for alcohol as specified on the invoice issued by the seller in Kyoto which dates it to 1850...

1900's Japanese Cast Iron Gold & Silver Inlay Tetsubin with Bamboo & Bird

It is 7 inches (17.8 cm) tall measured with handle up and 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) tall measured with handle down by 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide. It is 2.5 Lb. It will hold 900 ml (cc) water.

It has rust, loss of gilding, missing a leaf of the finial, oxidation, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Japanese Meiji Cast Iron Tetsubin with Signature - Hailstone Pattern

The cast iron tetsubin (teapot / kettle) is of course the central feature of the tea ceremony. This example was made during the Meiji period (1868 - 1912) or possibly a little later, the pattern to the upper part of the kettle known as the hailstone or nail head pattern. It has a copper cover that is a perfect fit. There is a signature to the right of the spout and there also appear to be seal marks to the base...
