£1,850.00 A white porcelain bowl with under glaze incised (anhua) decoration depicting two dragons amongst stylized clouds and flames. On the base, in underglaze blue, is the six character reign mark of the Guangxu Emperor (1875-1908).
Condition: there is a small shallow 0.5cm chip to the inside of the rim and much of the over glaze silver decoration is worn away...

Standing on a rectangular base, with three legs planted, and one slightly lifted, giving motion and life to the piece. The chest is one solid piece with four drawers running along its top front and two sets of hinged doors on its bottom, with brass hinges and lockplates. The interior of the chest has been coated with blue and red lacquer. The chest stands on six legs, three in front and three in back. Very roomy.

$1,650.00 Museum quality ancient Han dynasty, 206 BC – 220 AD, lead green deep dish from Luoyang, Henan Province. Excellent patina with the original silvering left intact on the rim of the dish. The 3rd photo shows a spur mark left by one of the clay firing stilts used to prop the dish to prevent it from sticking to the kiln floor. We have not seen another advertised for sale anywhere, other than the common cold painted types...
