Studs of turquoise and coral further enhance the opulence of this extravaganza. Stamped SILVER on the base. Age: first quarter of 20 C. size: 6 9/10 inches (17.5 cm ) high. condition: Excellent, it appears untouched, unpolished and unused for a long time, thus remaining in pristine and undamaged state.

Made of silk, embroidered with very fine Peking and satin stitch in gold-wrapped and colorful threads. The tall ankle cuffs decorated with brocaded ribbons. Cotton lining and leather soles. His attribute is a fan which is said to bring the dead back to life and turn stone into gold or silver. He wears an open robe with gilt accenting, and comes with a fitted hand carved hardwood stand. He is temperamental but compassionate towards the sick and needy, who he heals using special medicine from the gourd he carries around his waist. Chinese porcelain figure of Lan Caihe, one of the Eight Immortals in Chinese culture or Taoism. Lan is usually depicted carrying a bamboo flower basket as seen here. Lan's gender is always shown in an androgynous manner. The figure's earholes, nostrils, and mouth are pierced through. The bright enamel robes are accented in gilt pigment. Antique Chinese Song Dynasty ladies sleeping pillow. The pillow is decorated with black swaths on the top of the cushion, the sides are modeled with arabesques and other shapes. It shows some signs of age. It measures 4.5" deep 7.5" wide at top 4" tall, base: 4.5" by 3.5" Song Dynasty: 960-1279

Porcelain charger glazed in blue and white and copper red. Diameter 27 cm. Jiajing period (1796-1820). Some chips to the rim, but no cracks or repairs.

Antique Chinese famille rose porcelain vase with a scene of a pair of birds over a field of lotus. A lotus leaf bends under the weight of the birds as they look through the field of lotus blossoms. The reverse bears an inscription of calligraphy. The base bears a red seal. It is attributed to Shi Yuchu. It measures 10" tall, 2.25" wide at the mouth, 2" 3/8" at base.

Antique Chinese Famille Rose porcelain brush pot with scenes of a pair of birds of paradise in a garden of peonies and chrysanthemums with butterflies flying about. It bears a seal on the base. It is attributed to Jia Qing. It measures 5.75" tall 5" wide at mouth, 4.75" at base.

Chinese painting of grapes attributed to Luo Yin, a pupil of Pu Ru, 1896-1963. This was painted in the spring of 1970 according to the inscription. Luo Yin wrote several books about his master Pu Ru, known for his calligraphy and painting. This piece measures framed: 31.5" wide by 60.5" tall image:25" by 45". It has 4 seals.

Chinese 20th century hanging scroll painting of a landscape. A painted copy of a work by the famous artist Fang Cong Yi. The scroll has 18 seals. The landscape is dramatic and tranquil beginning in the mountains, descending through the ravines with a waterfall ending in a lake, where a monk crosses a bridge. It measures 25" wide 113" long overall, the image 18" by 69".

A square porcelain plaque painted with different greens, overglaze blue, yellow, aubergine and iron red, mounted in a later European wooden frame. Depicting Hua Mulan, a legendary female warrior, who took her aged father's place in the army. Some orange peel, reverse without glaze. Condition: enamel colors with some wear. Dimension: plaque: 22.7 cm x 22.6 cm x 1 cm, with frame: c. 30 cm x 30 cm.

Deep blue Chinese cloisonne multi-tiered, 3 compartment box with gold gilt. The translucent enamels are rich and vibrant. This little treasure is in excellent condition, no chips, no repairs, etc. and measures 3.5" high (9.1 cm) x 3" diameter (7.6 cm).
