Chinese antique small display shelf with stand, made of hong-mu. A staggered shelf in the middle breaks up the square area. The front and sides of the unit is carved with delicate lined details and cusped edges. On each side of both the top and bottom shelf is a little window (four total) and the back is open. The underside of the base has a black lacquer panel painted with a butterfly and chrysanthemums.

Antique Chinese tall wardrobe cabinet, made all of jumu (elm) wood with very beautiful grain, middle bar has been attached to door so that the cabinet opens with clear access to interior, inside has one shelf with two small drawers of jumu wood finished on the front to match the exterior of cabinet, bottom has one large drop in panel that locks with key, 19th century. Size: 78 1/2" high x 42 3/4" wide x 21" deep.

A Chinese apprentice sample model of a traditional style 17th or 18th century clothing chest. Made of beautiful Jichimu (Chicken-wing) wood with antique hard mounts. Two doors open to a storage area with center shelf. A removable center brace partitions the two doors.

Gorgeous Huanghuali hardwood Chinese altar table, with dramatic woodgrain featuring natural "eyes" in the burl patterns. The lower apron is handcarved with scrolling vines, its two legs are wide with carved lingzhi mushrooms.

A beautiful rare blackwood cabinet with symbolic carvings of a bat for long life and prosperity and happiness and the pair of fish for abundance and wealth and harmony. The cabinet comes with the original stand that is missing the two drawers. It is very rare to find the cabinet with the original stand. The items inside the cabinet do not come with the cabinet. Some wood separations between the joint, and this stool is very solid and heavy weight.

A portable vanity case of blackwood with all original hardware and mirror. It is in it's original condition as found. Age. Very early 19th century. Size: L. 27.5cm. W.20cm. H.10.8cm. Condition. No repairs. Mirror has some peeling of the silver backing around the edges, because of age. One handle knocker is missing and the lock has decomposed (common with these old pieces).Some old reinforcement strips on the front and inside.
