Good Shiwan censer with beautiful and subtle white flambé moon white glaze circa late 19th or early 20th century - there is one hairline on the rim noted in enlargements. D: 15cm/5.8in and H: 9cm/3.5i

Green lead glazed oil lamp or candle stand from the Han Dynasty. In excellent condition with no damage, there are still traces of the classic silver patina as may be seen in enlargements. H: 13.5cm/5.3in and D: 10.5cm/4.2in.

This lacquered leather pillow would have been owned by a wealthy family during the Qing dynasty. Each end has a hand painted floral design with Chinese "well wishing" saying.

Republic or a little later, black and red lacquered “Dou” offering stem bowl (usually fruit) for an ancestral altar table, with gilt garden and scholar’s theme. This from Guangdong and made for a Chaozhou family, aka Teo Chew, aka Chiu Chow. W: 21cm/8.2in and H: 13cm/5.1 in. There is some warpage, noted in enlargements but if just turn it the right way you won’t notice.

An attractive black Chinese QING Dynasty Leather Chest nicely painted with red and gold pigments. The front is centered with a hasp and the chest has handles on both sides. Good condition overall, but shows some signs of use over time and very minor/inconsequential loss of leather. No repairs. Size: L. 17" x H. 7" x D. 10" (43 cm. x 18 cm. x 26 cm.)

Nice old Tibetan or Baotou saddle carpet, with floral medallions and scroll pattern. There are some repairs and restorations which I have highlighted in enlargement two. Early 20th century, the colors are still vibrant with some abrash but none of the garish aniline dyes used later in the 50s and 60s. L: 120cm/47.2in ad W: 60cm/23.6in.

Charming Cizhou style ceramic pillow as a cat, circa late Qing to Republic period in perfect condtion! Great expression- captures the way a cat can gaze so intently at something while appearing calm- as if it is about to pounce on an unsuspecting prey. The Victoria and Albert have one in their TT Tsui Gallery and the Tianjin Porcelain Museum has one on display as well. L: 31cm/12.2in, H: 15.5cm/6.1in and W: 11.5cm/4.5in

Round Chinese wooden red lacquer storage box with auspicious symbols in gold. In excellent condition commensurate with age, measures 7.5" diameter x 3" high. Dates first half 20th century.

Antique Chinese Hardwood oblong shaped box carved from a single piece of wood. The lid and the base fit together snuggly. The lid has a carved recess on the interior. The base has a carved recess on the exterior. It measures 5.25"wide 8.5" long 2" tall.

A Chinese hardwood stand crafted in the style of some examples of Ming dynasty furniture and in the preference of the literati. The simplicity of the stand compliments objects placed on top. Age: 20th century Size: Length 18" Width 12.5" Height 6.6"

A small Chinese hardwood stand in the shape of an altar table, the pierced apron with lingzhi mushroom. Condition: few traces of usage, small restored crack (see photo No. 3). Dimension: c. 25.5 cm long, 10.3 cm wide, 15.2 cm high, weight: 515 g.

Chinese Qing dynasty rectangular form hardwood stand with four inward curving legs resting upon small balls. The stand is carved on the curved apron with vines and lingzhi fungus. Top: 17” long (about 18” at apron) x top: 10” wide (about 11 1/4" at apron) x 7” high. Weighs 6 lbs. 19th century. The stand was more recently refinished and is in very good overall condition. Only one of the most beautiful wood and lacquer Chinese baskets or round box ever to pass through my hands, this stunning beauty measures 9" high with the finial x 9" diameter and has strong decorative appeal, as well as being a genuine antique. The lid has a foo dog finial and is surrounded by Buddhist symbols, truly stunning details and exquisitely carved in low relief. The box dates circa 1890, really beautiful when you consider that the box is over 118 years old.
