A delicate little porcelain wine cup with butterflies. The enamels are just beautiful, precise, not grainy, etc. It has an iron red Tongzhi mark on the bottom. Except for a little wear to the gold on the rim, it is in excellent condition measuring approximately 2 5/8” wide and 1.25" high.

Two Famille noire biscuit sweetmeat dishes, Kangxi (1662-1722) of "arrow" formed, painted in the middle on a black ground a bird. The skirting band on the rim painted in green and black. The sides with aubergine glazed symbols. The yellow and green enamels has a "oil" surface and the black has a overlying green glaze. Condition: One in perfect condition. One is restored from several parts (see pictures)...

Two very attractive Chinese porcelain spoons, dated 19th C. and marked. In excellent condition these ladies are waiting to complete your collection. Measure about 5" long.

Broken shards of these crab plates have been found on the Island in Cebu in the Philippines, and are determined to be of the Zhangzhou type (formerly called Swatow wares). This lovely crab dish is from the Spanish porcelain trade that was exported from China to South East Asia. I am not absolutely certain of its exact age, but can guarantee that it is at least 150 years old. Measuring 6.75" in diameter, it is in perfect antique condition, no chips, hairlines or repair.

Description:

A celadon ewer or water dropper was intriguingly mold as chicken pot.
By cute-looking spout and simple-form wings, the porcelain pot was applied with glass-sheen glaze all over the surface.
On the unglazed bottom, the dense-feel clay was revealed and was with adhesives of burial earth.
Crackles and abrasions were resulted from incursions too.
It was kept in very fine condition...

A highly decorative 19th century Chinese Famille Rose Blue Ground Porcelain Wall Vase. An excellent pictorial reference specializing in blanc de chine (dehua) and a must-have book for anybody collecting within this field. The text by Robert Blumenthal is very good as well. We personally find that blanc de chine is probably the biggest area of fraud, abuse, and mistake by unscrupulous and /or unknowledgeable dealers, and as such it is probably the main area where novice collectors get burnt the most...

A very good reference book that covers various Chinese export wares, but which is especially useful for Chinese Rose Medallion collectors. While the book is somewhat lacking in that most of the photos are black and white and not in color, the book is still very important as an encyclopedic guide to all the myriad of shapes and forms within the Rose Medallion genre...

An excellent pictorial reference book covering the Koger Collection which features Chinese wares spanning the Neolithic Period through the Qing Dynasty. There are about 155 color photos with editorial by John Ayers. The photos here are really quite excellent. In our candid opinion, it's not enough of a reason to purchase an antique merely for the sake of a free book, but any client already seriously contemplating a purchase can enjoy this as a free extra...

A tripod porcelain censer was finely potted in the form of an archaic bronze Li vessel.
The flattened everted rim poised above the wide straight neck when the compressed globular body with a band around the shoulder extending down to form flanges on the outer side of each leg.
