Ducai flared vase made of porcelain, Chien Lung mark, Ching Dynasty, late Republic Period, 20th century. Decorated with scrolling vines and flowers with fans, medallions, and other items throughout. There are two geometrical registers that decorate the base and middle registers. It measures 6.25" at the mouth, 5"6/8" at base, 13.25" tall.

Interesting stem cup, with well potted flared sides raised on a tall conical stem foot, richly applied inside and out with a dark brown glaze. The bottom of the foot are glazed white with a six character Wanli imperial mark. measurement: Height 9.4 cm = 3.7 in Diameter 11.1 cm = 4.4 in. Condition: Ship on the foot ring. Manufacturing glaze defect in the center of the cup.

A beautifully rendered statue of Lu Xing, the Chinese God of Wealth and one of the 3 Star Gods. Richly painted in bright floral patterns and scrolling tendrils, it is in excellent condition. There are hole piercings in the ears and nose areas of Lu, and ear piercings in the child. C The sculpture measures 17" or 43.17 cm high and dates to the late Qing. Circa 1900. Marked on bottom.

Description:

A beautiful Qingbai porcelaneous set of cup and cupstand was found in original condition.
In characteristic greenish tint in the glaze, the ware was revealed with chalk-feel bodyclay underside.
The firing effects were yielded on the body clay.
They were preserved in perfect condition.
Some similar pieces were in the documentations.

Date: Song Dynasty.960-1279.

Cupstand Width: 13cm.

A bowl, made in imitation of late Qing Imperial style, with two roundels - one depicting a five clawed Dragon and the other a Phoenix - both separated by two iron red bats and above stylized breaking waves. The base carries what is probably the factory mark which, in Pinyin, reads "Jiu Jiang Hui Kang Chu Pin". This item was made in China in the 1940s during the late Republic period. A very finely potted and finely painted blue and white vase depicting three five-clawed dragons, amongst cloud scrolls, in pursuit of flaming pearls and above stylized breaking waves. The base carries the six character seal mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795) but, after three years deliberation, we have come to the conclusion that this item was probably made later, circa 1880-1920, during the late Qing or early Republic periods...

A very well painted Chinese hat stand. This would be considered transitional late Qing 1906-1911 to pre 1920, my guess is that it is just after the Qing period. The colors and enamel painting feature the God of Longevity with boys at play. Beautifully painted tree with flowers at bloom. The condition is perfect with exception of minor gold rubbing, other than that it is perfect and ready to display. Measures 11" high x 4.75" across

Chinese vase with clay sculpture of a dragon on the top of the vase. The vase is decorated with ancient to old bronze coins from different eras of Chinese history. In the middle, there is an inscription written about the history of Chinese coin minting technology. The calligraphy is titled: Gu Qian Ton Shuo, the story of the ancient coins. Calligraphy is signed and dated; May of 1884, brushed by Qian long shi yuan Zhao Zhun guang. Age; 19th century. Size: Diameter: 14" Height: 23.75"

A charming late 19th C. Chinese tea cup and saucer, displaying the traditional dragon and other design elements. The hollowed transparent holes are covered with glaze to form the ever popular rice pattern. Various symbols such as the sunburst represent the Emperor and bats for good fortune, on the underside of the teacup are various Doaist symbols. Tea cup measures 2.75" diameter x 2" high, saucer measures 4" diameter x 1" high". In excellent condition without hairlines or chips.
