$350.00 A very nice 19th C, Tongzhi era (1861-1875), porcelain dish showing a Qilin, a fabulous creature which appears in various forms and is associated with the wish for sons. In excellent condition, it measures 6.5 inches in diameter and about 1" high.

$350.00 Lovely pair of small Chinese ginger jars measuring only 5.5 inches high including finial and 3.5" in diameter. They feature a beautiful crackle glaze with a polychrome scene depicting warriors in the Battle of the 3 Kingdoms. These jars were last used as a antique decorative item on top of a diminutive slant top writing desk in a NYC Park Avenue Apartment before the family retired to NC.
Rare Finely Detailed Chinese Song Dynasty Incised Celadon Porcelain Bowl
This very attractive porcelain bowl was made during the 12th or 13th century at one of the kilns in Fujian province, where such wares were made for export around south-east Asia; indeed the silky-matt feel and appearance of the glaze suggest this bowl has been recovered from a shipwreck. 20th century copy, probably from the 1960s. An original must exist in a Chinese museum. This type of high quality porcelain had to be ordered to be offered as a present? or others. In any case, porcelains of this quality from this late period are not numerous.

Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Enamelled Porcelain Bowl
This attractive porcelain bowl was made during the Wanli Reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. This type of porcelain is referred to as "Swatow" or "Zhangzhou" ware and was often exported to the South East Asian market. The outer wall has been decorated with a scrolling floral pattern in red and green enamels, the inner centre more simply decorated with a floral motif and two red rings... This beautifully lobed dish was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) and has the simple stylishness typical of Song Qingbai porcelains. There are some glaze crackles which occurred during the firing, one of which, in the centre, penetrates through to the foot (please note that this not damage). This attractive porcelain jar, or vase, was made in the Transitional period, c. 1620 - 1660, most likely during either the Tianqi reign (1621 - 1627) or the Chongzhen reign (1628 - 1643) of the Ming Dynasty. It is fairly "heavily-potted" and made in three sections that have been luted together prior to glazing. The bold underglaze blue pattern features blossoming plants on opposite sides of the body... The inner surface is attractively decorated with a scrolling floral pattern. Chinese Qing dynasty bombe form censer (incense burner) with flared brown dressed rim decorated around the circumference in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with two four-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl of wisdom. Chinese Qing dynasty Nanking ware bowl decorated around the center in underglaze blue with figures in a landscape setting of mountains, trees, traditional huts, and boats on a lake. The flaring top rim and base have brown incised bands that are characteristic of brown etched wares produced between 1880 and 1920. $350.00 Libatory cup in Chinese soft porcelain. The cup is made with a mold in 2 parts, on the side you can see the junction mark. It is decorated in relief with 2 dragons, a crane in flight and a deer. The clay is white covered by a transparent glaze.Usually, these white Chinese cups are made of hard porcelain, those made of soft paste like this are rarer. The cup is in good condition there is only a small chip on the upper edge which is clearly visible in photos.
